sunroof problem

bmw sunroof problem. i took the whole sunroof assembly out of my 94 325is. upon reinstaling it, it no longer closes straight. the part that moves the roof on the drivers side is 4" ahead of the pasanger side one. any one know how to get them to line up?

AHHHHHH! ... be careful brother. My sunroof flew off.. (yes literally).. around a month ago, because one bolt was stripped in the front... tore apart my complete sunroof assembly with it.. (twisted metal and broken plastic went with the roof)

with that said... the reason your sunroof is not closing straight is because your lifters aren't in sync.
