Ran over my own IS LIP!
It was bound to happen, and it did, especially after it has fallen off 4 times.....
Thursday morning, i was getting out of my driveway to go to school, when my iS Lip kissed the curb, came loose on one side, dragged for a couple of feet, and just went straight under both my left wheels. It was ran over.... I put on my four way flashers, got out, to go and collect my lip, thinking that it was in two pieces, but to my thankful surprise, i t wsnt broken in half... i picked it up, and the damage is next to non existent! I was very surprised! The lip was made by Eurostyle, and now i can absolutely vouch Eurostyle's fiberglass quality
I'm hoping to have it back on the car, sometime next week....

I ran over mine last year, and it was perfectly fine. Original BMW part.
Having it run over by me, Jon, and koncise a few weeks back was another story... I have a decent crack in it, but it's easily fillable. I'm just sick of dealing with this damn lip all the time, this is the 5th time in my car's life that the lip has come off. It's actually the 3rd lip to be purchased extra, too.

mine's just using the stock clips.. when the weather gets warmer though im gonna have to bolt it to the valence too... though it stays on well even like this, just when i hit huge potholes i guess, knocks it loose

You fail to realize that the factory mounting technique IS with clips. Mine had those, plus bolts, and still came off.
