Question what cams ?

hello as my previous shows im looking for performance mods for my 1994 325i coupe and was wondering what would be the best cams i could get that would keep the car reliable and drivable ?

95 US M3 cams would have the best cost to performance ratio because there are a lot of people removing their stock ones for aftermarket ones. Your car still remains very reliable and drivable. I don't know if the euro M3 cams would fit into the 325 head.

There are a bunch of companies selling aftermarket cams though, one of the best would be Schrick, but they are pricey.

what kind of performance gains am i looking at gettin with m3 cams and would they have to be set up on the rolers or any thing like that ?

Your main performance gain will be a lot more bottom end torque. Your torque curve will be more linear rather than a hump. You'll get approximagely the same amount of power, maybe more up top but mostly more bottom end torque.

Ummmm...... nope. Your gains are in top end. 3500rpm they "come on cam" and you get a real kick. Yes I do have them installed.

Check your before and after torque curve to see...

... you'll notice a lot more bottom end torque (linear).

so more torque and more top end power i feel a little kick at 5000 rpm at the mo i will have to see if the uk ones fit first
