My E30 project

I am in the process of modifying an E30 316i. So far it has a 3ltr straight 6 engine and an m- tech 2 kit.

I have a lot more to do to it including a full respray in black, lowering, 17" alpina alloys, race recliner seats, custom powerflow exhaust and much more. At the moment I don't have any pics but I'll load some up sometime when I can and when I have done something new.

By the way does anyone know what colour black is best for an E30, iam thinking black from the new Nissans ?

I got some pics for ya. Recently I found out that the engine might be a 2.8 but I ain't positive. The bodywork looks shabby but is actually in really good condition. I will keep updating the pics as I do stuff to it. Could anybody tell me what the pipes are coming out of the side of the inlet manifold. I've never seen them on other engines before.

I thought the 3l was the M3 motor? And I'm quite sure it doesn't look like that (M50)...

Yeah when I got the car I was told that it was a 3.0 but then someone told me it was a 2.8. I don't really know what to think. Did you notice the pipes coming out of the side of the inlet manifold?? Do you know what they are?? I think it is possible that the guy who put the engine in changed the inlet manifold but i'm not sure.

That's an M20 intake manifold I think (I don't know much about bmw engines, hahaha)

Which would suggest it's a factory M20 325...
