Totalled E30 M3????

By the looks of the pictures, do you think this car is totalled? There is a guy near my place selling it, i just don't know for how much, nor do i have much info on it. It's an 88...

looks like there might be mild frame damage...i'd say jus get a clean one..who knows how he has treated if, after being in an accident it'd tell me he might have been careless

Yeah you would need to have a really good look at it to be able to tell. If you are not sure get someone you know who knows about stuff like that and see what they think. Maybe a mechanic.

i wouldn't buy an 88 that has been in a serious accident like that one. firstly, its already an old car so your going to have problems with it to begin with. Secondly, now that its been into an accident there are going to be many many more problems that will arise even after you get the car fixed. It will be in the shop every other day.

If it was an e46 then I would tell you to grip it but not an e30.

I don't want to buy it, i was just curious if the damage looks severe enough to total it. I would NEVER buy an E30 that has been in an accident.

He won't part it out......he e-mailed me tonight saying that he wants $7500 for it.

I was hoping he would let it go for $2000
