auto to 5 spd conversion

Hi guys, I was wondering if somebody can tell me the stuff that I need to convert my 92 325i auto to a 5 spd tranny. Do I need to change the ECU? and what are the cost for this mods.

Your help will be much apreciated.

No need to change the ECU. There is a computer for your Auto. tranny, but you don't need to take it out. There isn't a whole lot of wiring going on with the swap, mostly bolts, patience, and a small hand to install the clutch master cylinder!!!!

The cost varies depending on whether you are performing your own labor or not, and the acquirement of parts.

I would usually say, " Do a seach.", but I don't know how well the subject is covered here on Maxbimmer.

you can try calling Mantis Racing in Oakville (905 844 6219) they perhap will be able to give you a quote over the phone. they specialize on German cars. as well as engine swaps on bimmer.
