Am I the only one who thinks the 3.2L turbo with 325hp makes no sense? The current naturally aspirated 3.2L makes 333hp right? Why would BMW design the turbo engine to make less horsepower.

Simple. The turbo would be an "is"model, not part of the M model line. Therefore, no expensive exotic internal parts, no F1-like piston speeds, and no 8000RPM redline. It would cost MUCH less to make that kind of power with mass-produced FI rather than NA.

inline with BMW's policy to give even numbers to it's more sporting models? What the hell are they smoking? The highest performance models have always been odd. M1, M3, M5??? The only even one ever was the M6 and it was not the highest performing of the group.

Do some research before you start making accusations. All sedans will have odd numbering (1, 3, 5, 7) and the coupes will have even (2, 4, 6). It's as easy as that.
