Folia Tec Red Taillight paint

I just ordered in six cans of the Folia Tec red transparent paint at work. $28.00+tx is the price for maXbimmer members!

Anyone tried that exact paint on E30 tails? I wanna know how well it would match the stock plastic red.

Folia Tec makes good stuff, their caliper paint is very high quality.

I used that stuff on my tail lights. Works great, just make sure to spray everything on the tail light except the white reverse section. No need to blend the orange section with the factory red when it can all be sprayed. Make sure you use very light coats and take your time. Here's a pic of my tail lights...

just buy the 5$ glass/plastic paint from CT, works just as well, and the candy apple red matches perfectly!

I've done it on an E36... it didn't look as good as on an E30.

Not really a fan of E36 all-reds either. Clears or bust.
