According to the Ontario Ministry of Transportation it is perfectly legal to install a non-airbag equipped aftermarket steering wheel.

Oh and if you don't want your SRS light to come on just bridge the airbag connector with a 4ohm resistor. Simple as that, did it myself.

I had some hassle from cops in mississauga re: my momo monte carlo wheel. Having the wheel was fine; however, they checked to see if the horn was operational (thank God that it was working). At the same time they hassled me for about 20 min. re: my ride drop and so-called improper tire wear. The ass also checked under the hood for a swap. I'd be careful with whatever major mods you do-you'll end up getting screwed.
