How do I remove the front portion of the dash
I'm not talking about the console, I want to remove the front portion of the dash (goes from the left all the way to the center). I want to access the air vent flaps. They are stuck and I have about 30% airflow at full blast. It's noisey as hell since the flap got stuck. When I first got the car the flap just got stuck occasionally. Now it's stuck all the time no matter what.
After removal, should I just clean the flaps? Any grease needed?

all i know is that i had to remove the front portion... you start from the bottom and go up... that is the order you have to go in or else you break things....
is this on a 3 Series? E36??

yep 3 series E36.
So you have to remove the center console and the vynl peice under the steering wheel? After that is the dash just clipped on or screws?
