PICS! (of a jerky 6000rpm launch)

Seriously, take care in learning. No sense bashing up the car in 1st gear at a stoplight.

Wow. I learned to drive stick with a $3000 1984 VW.. you're learning in a $90,000 M3..

Any idea what I did wrong? It's sweet though...19" rims.

Crazyvadim, my 540i looked exactly like your pix but without the M5 wheels. It had M5 bumbers wiht M-sport wheels. Same color and everything...kinda miss it.
The M3 that I've got is also silver with silver (instead of black) strip that goes across it. Pretty sweet with tinted windows. I'll take pix tomorrow after work.

Yee,i know the 03 came with the front M5 bumper with the M parrallels.I was initially in the market for an 03 540i because it was the closest to an M5 but i couldnt resist the M5 and had to get it.If you woulda had the 6 speed 540 that woulda been a shitload of fun,i dont think you would of traded it in for the m3.

It is not an m540i, it is a 540i with m bumpers and rims. m540i was e34, they do not get that badging any more.

thank you captain obvious.... if its got M5 skirts (although front and rear have some differences), and other ammeneties that the M5 has, than that would make it a "M"540

It's a sport package. There is no "M" anywere to be seen. If it got "M LOOK" skirts, bumper, whatever, it's not a M. Even if it did, it's still not a M.

The main and i think the only difference is the engine. So if you drop an M engine into an non M sport model, then you dont got an M car?
