by the way, is this M3 a demo, only 6000miles on it right, demo cars tend to get raped, you never know what has been done to it, you might regret it later

I agree with the people who say get what you feel is right. I would personally choose the M3 because I don't need the room and I think a M3 suits a young guy in the 20s more than a 540. 540 is a sweet car though.

It would be a very very hard decision for me... I would trade the 540i for a 5 speed though.

Well, I've taken home the M3 today. Man, this morning was my first time driving a manual. The salesguy showed me using a 98 3 series stick. I was quite nervous and so I made him drive it home for me while I followed in one of the company's car that's automatic....Now I'm learning to drive a stick...I keep getting jerky ride at 2nd shift. Any idea what I did wrong? It's sweet though...19" rims.

You let the clutch out too early. Don't worry, you'll get it with practice.
