water coming from sunroof ?

My whole roof is covered with soem type of leather .It must be that the previous owner had problems with wather coming out of sunroof. I am thinking about taking off that leather because it looks ugly. Over the summer I want my sunroof to be funcionining . How to repair the sunroof if it is leaking ,I think it is because I can see marks and stains and this is why the leather was placed over the whole roof. I am thinking about getting new sunnroof. Is it hard to put in the sunroof ,to replace the old one?If I replace the sunroof Am I goin to have the same problem?

it could be just a simple case of the drain holes being plugged...check to make sure they are free first, before going into an expensive replacement sunroof, and a replacement sunroof might not cure a leak problem....

blow compressed air through them, or use some wire to push through them. i just did that and that worked for me.
