Vlad, you're always so concerned about just pure numbers. There's more to a car than just 0-60 & 1/4 mile stats. Things that Audi will never come close to BMW with, like RESALE VALUE, steering response, safety, handling dynamics, reliability etc... Look at the whole picture. Maybe you should just buy a '91 Mustang 5.0L to satisfy your stop light to stop light expectations.

You can never resale Audi as BMW . Here Bmw and Mercedes rule and people dont know too much about audi. To me audi was always top of line what VW had offered.

How tlaseva's wife said BMW is BMW. E30 325i go for about $4000 to $6000 what about Audi from late 80s or early 90s?
One more thing when mkgino said 3.0 audi A4 versus 330i hahah that said it all.I would never buy audi over BMW.

That used to be the old ones. Not when Audi took over.

Man, you are dim. He was clearly speaking to Vlad, and telling him that he is too concerned with acceleration times. His Mustang comment had nothing to do with Audi at all.

Yeahman... i haven't posted yet... i've been reading through the whole 4 pages... seems that u don't know how NOT to take Mk Gino's comments to heart. He's a joker... + he's right most of the time.

+ Randy wasn't comparing Mustangs : Audi performance... dude... rather than look for any reason to argue.. read the posts before u post anything.

In reference to the whole dispute... I love both BMW's and AUDI's alike... HERE ARE MY PICKS...

1) BMW M5 ... seems to be the best overall car

2) AUDI SR6 ... seems to be a close contender...

3) E55 ... i'm really REALLY starting to like the new
Mercedes... pretty good considering i've always
hated the cars they put out.
4) JAGUAR TYPE R ... REALLY UGLY. though still powerful
