Yup I think BMW recommends H: 130mph, V:149mph, Z:149mph Pirellis, Michelins, Continentals, and Dunlops with a sidewall ratio of 65 or less, whatever that means.
Those compressors are fast even the four door ones.

I find it weird that American E30 325i cars don't go that fast. I have as I said a standard 325i and that goes faster than some of your chiped cars.
235 km/h with a standard 325i M20 engine.

Last month I put the stock chip back on and got up to 235km/h, steady for about 2mins or so. I think that is the absolute top for a stock M20B25. I was on my 195/65/14 (H-rated winter) tires, so speedo error is out of the question.

I forgot about when I had a 318i which I got to 190km with 6 people in the car including myself.
205km on the way to montreal with just myself in the car racing a 944.
There was one crazy time I let my friend drive my 325is from montreal to ottawa and we made the trip in under 50 minutes.

you know what's sad. I can only hit 205 with my m50 now. It is governed. I could do 225 with the m20...

i wonder how fast objec can go in his 800hp e30 m3? i know my 325is can go 143mph and all it has is a drop in filter and borla exhaust. i accually held it at that speed for 1.5hrs going from austin to port aransas, tx. that was like 2:45 in the morning, also have made the trip from austin to san antonio in under 25mins, that is about 75+/- 8mi.

^^^HAHAHA...Judging by the size of his imagination I would guess 3 times the speed of sound, although his Aluminum to Steel welds might not hold up under that stress...hehe

the us "i" motors only had 8.8?/1 compression while the euro ones had 9.2?/1, or something like that so they only came with 168hp and the euro ones had 171hp. but you can get 800hp out of an m3 e30, we just wont know how because objec wont let us know how to do it.
