e30 M3 springs
Anyone have these springs in their "normal" e30? do you like them? I just had this thought the other day that I might want them instead of the rennsports I have now. Not sure why I had this thought? How much do they lower a regular e30?

I helped a friend install e30 m3 springs on his 318iC. The are a little stiffer than stock, lower the car about 1/2" to 3/4" tops. The biggest reason for going with m3 springs is that they are cheap. It cost my friend a bottle of wine.

ya I dont think I am going to. Just the winter blues I guess. I was driving the the other day, and I was plowing so much that snow was coming over the windsheild! Then the snow and ice got all clogged up under there and threw the power sterring belt off! It's all good though, I'll survive. At least I can get around better now with the snowies.

The M3 suspension is completely unique. Different springs, struts (sway bar tab), control arms (aluminium), hubs (5 lugs)... So no... the 325iS does NOT have the same suspension as the M3.

The aftermarket springs do, they are commonly shared between the models. But stock? Far from it.
If I were just going to do a spring/shock upgrade I'd use the M3 springs, they are a good compromise and cheap to boot. Plus, you get that wonderful feeling of using OEM parts.

I believe that the fronts won't work but that the rears will work.
