Suspension from Ground Control

Hello.
Does anyone now how this suspension kit handles? I am about to buy this kit but i can't get hold of their E-mail address. Is it possible to find a suspension kit for the same money that handles better on the track?

Thanks

I am running GC's on my car. They handle how you want them to handle. You get to choose your own spring rates. If you want stiff, you get stiff. If you want soft (why the hell would you want to) you can get soft. I am running 450f and 600r.

There is a reason you cant find a email address. They dont have one. Too many people order stuff thinking that they know what talking about, when they really dont. They setup your suspension. They will tell you what you need. Luckily, their shop is about 45mins away from where I live so I just dropped by and picked up my stuff.

A lot of people will tell you to talk to Jay. He is the one running the show and seems to be very busy. Everyone that works there is very knowledgable and will be able to help you. Give em a call.

Here is a pic of my stuff...

Comparison between new and old springs...

Ground Control is great stuff. Jay and the boys down there really know their stuff and they will assemble the kit exactly how you need it. Some guys buy the GC coil-over and throw them over their 12 year old stock shocks and bitch that the ride is poor or the don't like the handling...well, Doooooh

I have owned MANY different susp. kits on my E36 and will never go back from GC. I just ordered a GC/Koni kit for my brothers '89 E30 so I'll post some pics when it is done. I do suggest anyone who is interested in a real suspension kit contact us so we can discuss your car, driving style, needs, budget, etc. Each brand their strengths and weaknesses...

I'm running Ground Control Coilovers at the moment but on an E36. Great set of suspension.

If you get ahold of the guyz down there let them know how you drive and how stiff you want your suspension to be and they will make you a custom setup. I am running a stiffer suspension than the H&R Race springs I used to have on my car. I love it. They use Eibach springs too. I find that even though the spring rate is stiffer than the H&R's I had they are more comfortable when I hit bumps in the road.

Not yet. His car is taking longer than expected, but I should have some pics in a week or so. It will have the Ground Controls in it but won't look very impressive on the stock 14" wheels
