Which Intake makes more Engine Noise????
Which Intake Makes more engine noise... Conforti Evolution Intake with ITG foam filter or an ECIS Intake with a K and N Filter?
I suspect the ECIS would make more just by the design of the air filter but the conforti one apparently sucks in more air.... so which is it?
Thanks

hmmmmm, im guessing since the carbonio extends down the bumper like the dinan intake, it would produce sound but I think it is contingent on the type of filter used. Carbonio uses a K and N filter type and not ITG.
Vlad... does your intake make a lot of noise? Its more like the ECIS if not exactly cause AA outsources their heatshields from ECIS

if you want a loud intake maybe consider getting a ROAR carbon airfilter.

ROAR on it's own.
It's a very loud, very growling intake. I no it's not one of the 2 you mentioned.. but if sound is important to you, maybe something to consider looking in to.

Ummmm, why would you be worried about this?
You'll make you decision baed on how loud it is?
What about the quality of the kit? Is it OEM quality or a hack? The filter? Fit and finish?
I'd suggest JC all the way, but in fairness I haven't worked with ECIS. The moulded JC heat shield and CF intake connector with the OEM like snaps is a really nice peice.

isn't the Conforti one pretty pricy?? I hear the ECIS one is really similar in performance and a lot cheaper, I remember researching between the two when I had a e36 320
