I have become a victim

My car has been parked out front of my house for the last week. I have not driven it and it has been covered in snow. So today, I took it for a little rip. And like every good citizen, took a few minutes to knock all the snow off my ride. I came to the front of the car to find my left grill laying on the ground, the right grill is pushed back into the fan and the grill insert twisted beyond belief!!!!!!. I mean I had to pull the metal strip between the grills back out 2 inches just so the fan could spin. I mean F***!!!!!

I live in a smaller neighbourhood and I asked around today, but no one saw anything. But from the point of impact, it looks like a truck because there is not a mark in the bumper - only the grill.

Oh well, at least now I can do the 97-99 conversion for the grill.

Does anyone have a link for the install of the part, I already have them coming.

I found some online for $86.00 USD with the proper grills as well. I thought that was a good price. Full retail was close to $200.00 US. Are you thinking about doing the swap too?

R_jay, when they get here and there are no hidden charges I will send you the link. I just don't want my name associated with a bad joint.

Yeah, I'm doing the swap too.

I got everything from the dealer (grill panel & grills) It cost me $277 w/tax.
