You drive the extra mile just to go to the coin op hand car wash just so no machine will touch the car
When your girl friend asks you the smallest question about the car and you give her a 30 minute lesson in auto mechanics
You turn the music down just so you can hear her purr when you punch it

bwahhhhhaha, wow, I think everything everyone has mentioned, is something I do, especially the thinking about donuts when it snows, and turning the music down to hear the engine, and lecturing the girlfriend.... (she likes it though right? ) I thought I was the only crazy one....

- you have a picture of your car on your desktop
- you have a toy model BMW.. the same model as your actual bimmer
- when the topic of cars come up, you ask people what kind of car they drive... not because you really care, but so they can ask what you drive too.. and you can say a BMW.

Ya true!
-Whenever you see xenons at night you make sure you glance at a car again when it comes closer to make sure it's a bimmer
-When you drive with someone you always let others know of bimmers you see on the road
-When you can't drive your car for one day you feel very depressed
-Whenever you get an opprotunity, you always try to assure others that BMWs are reliable, cheap and not as expensicve as they may think... to draw others to BMW.
-When driving you try to see other BMW owners, you feel special following a bmw or if a bmw is following you
-You try to park EITEHR next to other BMWs or as far as possible from cars in any public place, like a mall for example. Any other parking space is unacceptable, unless unavoidable.

When You won't even think of a dirt road....
When you visit it in winter storage.....
When your GF has a Mini, and all you can think about is a 328 for a winter car......
When you tune the vanos....

What if...
you are afraid to park your car in public and make up excuses when you have to park at the end of the maxbimmer parking area (your car isn't parked between two members).
"ummm sorry guys I gotta go..."
your diecast bimmer model happens to be the same exact model as your own bimmer, in the same colour with any mods/options added (sunroof/rims/exhaust etc).
you consider your bimmer to be part of your diecast collection cept it's 1:1 scale
you don't have a garage cause it is more like a place of worship.
"GarageMahal"
you love other members cars almost as much as your own.

Haha, I've noticed doing this lately. It has struck me, the BMW virus, that is... Some of the other items also start to seem familiar.

I don't really like telling ppl what I have, when they ask, I'm usually like, "uh, its just an old bmw."
Some ppl make too much of a big deal out of it.

Julian: I know how you feel... I usually say "I'm in a car club" before I say BMW.
They say TOYOTA???
I say no, maXbimmer.com... check it out, and leave it at that. Most enthusiasts come back saying... WOW! nice site. What's your username, can I come to a cruise?"
I say "SpudBoy, sure dude, any time".
They say "Holy $hit your a moderator?"
I say "Nope, just a member that likes to cruise"
then...
I LOVE maXbimmer
