What about gearing, that would have alot to do with top speed capability?

Don't do it lol. Get somebody with a radar or sumting to do it

I know you were joking but a cop will give you a read out in a form of a ticket. That way ur certified with ur speed

could that be problem like the faster you go speedo is getting
less accurate or something since it has si board out of 633 and
mine speedo and 633 tach ?

Maybe it needs calibration

Yes, thats what it is...at low speed they are the same but as it goes up you notice the difference...

I really like your car and it is a fine German automobile and definitely a classic Don't worry so much about the top speed and enjoy it.
