Which cars have a Garret turbo standard?

Hi,

I am looking for a Garret T03 or a Garret T04 turbocharger. Only thing is I am not able to afford a new one.

So my question is:

On which cars are these turbo standard?

Hmmm.. How about a Lee Noble M12? It has 2!

That's the only one I can think of at the moment

a k03 is smaller than just about anything Garrett makes. they're teeny. great for turbocharging john deere lawn tractors. for an m20, if you really like them for some reason, i suggest buying two

i don't know of any OEM apps that use a T4 (but that doesn't mean they don't exist).

the 2.3turbo engine that ford put in several cars (mustang svo, merkur xr4ti, t-bird turbo) would make a good starter, but make sure you find one with a .60AR exhaust housing- anything smaller will choke a six (or even a more modern big four). any garrett T3 off a saab is likely to have the smaller (either .42 or .48) exhaust housing as well.

the nissan 300zx single-turbo (Z31 chassis code, not the current 3.5L one or the decent-looking one before it) had a .60 T3 for the first two years- but make sure you're getting one from an '84 or '85, as after that they went to a big T25. a lot of the 240SX guys who go turbo without swapping the engine (2.4 dohc 16v) use these as a starter.

HTH...

the 2nd-gen (95 till whenever they weren't turbo anymore) DSM's had garrett T25's, with .45 AR hot side- could work well for a <1bar M42-

previous cars had larger mitsubishi turbos.

Turbo List

I don’t know if this will help you… I found this list on the net a while back. I’ve heard some of the information is not correct or it just refers to the turbo housing. Anyway, it may help narrow which cars have the turbo you are looking for.

Don’t shoot the messenger… just trying to help.
