my car is running rich i beleive how do i fix this

i have been told that my car is running rich how would i fix this idle control valve well where is it for one? any way i hope you guys can help this is a continueation of how my car can have the pedal to the floor and go no where. thanks ahead

Are you talking about the Idle Air Control Valve?? You have a check engine light on??
Check your TPS and O2 sensor

Maybe fuel pressure regulator ? It might also be the air fuel meter, sending wrong info to your ECU and it's in limp mode.
