Well out of those choices, X5, but for me, I'd want the V8. How much are used 4.4L ? I saw an Estoril X5 the other day, 4.6L I think, on dixie with the OEM 5 spokes 20"s chromed ... WOW !

it's not the price of the V8 Bimmers thats the problem...it's the fact that the gas consumption would be a lot

i'm starting to have some second thoughts on the BMW...because it is assembled in the USA. I thought it would be Germany
is the BMW still as reliable as it would be if it was imported from Europe?

The only two I would consider is the X5 and the Infinity.
The Lexus drives like a tall Camary. Isolates you so much from the drive feel that I hate, and handles like solid excrement.
The Infinity basically a Pathfinder with some add on cosmetics, which I currently own a '01 SE. Got 60K kms, and haven’t had even a bulb go on it yet.
Because Nissan's been making them for a long time, they've had plenty of time to work out all the bugs. The engine has great torque, but is a gas-guzzler.
Likely one of the most reliable SUV's out there.
Now the X5 is my top choice of ALL SUV's.
Even the Mercedes ML's can't hold a candle to a X5.
Extensively test-drove both, and it wasn't even close IMO.
Best handling/built SUV I've driven..

^^^thats awesome hearing it from some1 who actual owns the x5
i will definately get my parents to test drive the x5 and the qx4.
we were thinkin about the pathfinder at first, but the way we see it is you pay a couple grand more for a better dealer
i've heard infiniti dealers are 10000000000000x more friendly than your normal nissan dealer, as well as more consumer-friendly.
so why not when the difference in price isn't that huge

^^^^actually i doubt i would be able to drive it without rolling over a few people
i only have my G1 and i'm not exactly an 'experienced driver'
i get my g2 in july.
so i better get practicin.
i hear SUVs are harder to drive because you have a messed up view or something
i will STILL take whatever SUV we get for a spin once i get my G2....hell i might even practice with it

I'd take a Forester Turbo over any other SUV. It drops the 1/4 in 14 flat, stock. With less than $1500 you can be deep into the 13's.

The X3, don't like it reminds me of a Jeep Grand Cherooke and it doesn't look like it might even have real off roading or towing capabilities.
The Infinity, how dare anyone take that nice looking monter offroading or even towing. Anyway with such big large rims I would imagine traction would suck.
Give me an X5, Hummer H1 or Monter truck anyday.

Why don't you take a look at the Infiniti FX, instead if the qx4?
