it think when people refer to american junk they mostly mean the crapaliers and shit like that....kids like to put a sticker on them and then try to race everything in the book......
as far as your O3 cobra goes......meh....it's alright i guess.....

lol...im just playin with ya......ur car is SICK....i've seen some things on Speedvision and I can't believe how rediculously fast that car is....and also they say it handles MUCH better than the previous cobras.......especially when it comes with a price tag about the same as a 1 to 2 year old M3 .....it makes it that much better....

what's the 0-60 on ur car...

M3s are sweet, I'd like to run one.
i aint a fan of american cars and despise most of them, but i admit, straight line power...they own me, US i guess as a BMW community. Handling wise the Z06 is raping M3's, but simply for build and quality and pimpin..BMW is better IMO. anyways thats way off topic. I only say this because my family has owned all american cars, and they were ALL nothing but problems, all bought new too. I guess you wont like BMWM5LOVER llol

Yo guys,

I did not mean to create any beef between the American and European classes. The Cobra is sick ride, but the one I raced was a older 5-liter (1987-1990). It was dressed up pretty well but I donít think it was designed for top end. As a matter of fact I donít think any American cars are designed for top end power. But I still have a lot to learn so please educate me on this subject.

BMW = Autobahn
Mustang =Drag race

It's not so much that american cars like the Cobra aren't designed for top end.....they have the horsepower to do it...but "generally" speeaking the american cars aren't as refined as a German car.....Say an 03 Cobra and 03 M3 were to be doing 240 km/h. im pretty sure the M3 would feel more stable at that speed.......now who gets there first i dunno.......

The Cobra is rated at a conservative 390hp. It would rape the M3 to that speed.

0-60 in 4.5, 1/4 in 12.9 @ 111mph.

I'd buy one if I already had a lighter, more nimble car.

Agreed.

I had a 5.0 L LX Mustang in '87.
I never went over 170 kmh in it.
The car just didn't inspire confidence at any higher speed.

I remember having to use BOTH hands on the steering at that speed too!

I wouldn't say the cobra would rape the M3 I think it would be a little closer than you guys think....sure the cobra might win, but the M3 would give it a run for its money. Even more so through the turns.
