M3 cams, and a custom chip ..good for maybe 40hp roughly...turnermotorsport.com sells a chip/cam kit for the M50 motor.

nitrous is actually the biggest bang for your buck; for $1000 you can have an extra 70hp, or more, at the push of a button.
I say go with a wet nitrous setup, turbo, or engine swap if you want fairly reliable power. All the other stuff is decoration
