lowering my 94' 318is

I have a 94' 318is with 17" m3 wheels. I want to lower it, but i'm not sure how much. I don't want it to be uncomfortable too when i want to get out of my driveway. What do u guyz think>>???

Eibach Sportline kit will give you a 1.8" drop front and rear. Or H&R Race Springs will give you a 2.0" front and 1.3" rear drop.

If you plan on lowering your car that much then I suggest you get coilovers but if you don't want to spend that much money then another option is Bilstien Sport shocks all around and get them re-valved for your set up.

H&R Sport will also give you a nice drop. Not as low as the H&R Race. One thing about the Eibach Sportline though, is the rear seem way lower than the front.

thanx guyz...so either H&R sport, or Eibach...can i just change the springs? One of my friends said that if you just change the springs my car will bounce to much...what should i do????

For springs, H&R Sport or Eibach Pro-Kit.
For shocks, Bilstein Sport or Koni Yellow.

Can't go wrong with any combination of those. And yes, you have to change the shocks at the same time.

What about camber effect on the lowering, won't it have to be corrected? Just wondering.

I've seen some E36's with camber problems in the rear, but the springs I listed aren't very extreme at all. They should fit within the "acceptable" range.

Any E36 owners care to chime in?

e36s can run with some negative camber, heck I even think they already have some negative camber with the OEM sport suspension. Not sure how much but I think around -2 degrees is "acceptable". I have the H&R Race, and there is a slight evidence of camber wear, but not too drastic, also the drop on these springs are a bit more than 2", I've added 2 rubber spring seats to raise the back a little.
