's not a shame at all...BMW just decided to use high revving NA motors like F1 whereas audi felt like using some turbos. If audi used F1 style motors i'm sure they could get that kinda power without a blower...but meh

however ... WAR SOUNDS nice.... how many Carrera GT's have you seen in person... how bout with the engine on?

the enzo's engine is so throaty you can feel it in your stomach... 650 pure maranello stallions beating against your ear drum... enough to get me convinced!
Like i said, ENZO's GAY!

I dunno i've seen and heard an enzo in preson too, sounds nice, FINE, i'll give ya that much, but its ugly as sin!

now i can understand why Randy said, ppl who love ferrari..is all about what "sounds nicer" or "looks hotter"

theres no way anyone can say which car is better, until they drive both. or at least a head to head comparison is done on Top Gear or something.

Yes but have you checked the weight difference! And as for whether they are faster or not i ve driven both and although i would chose the M5 the RS6 will have the M5 from standstill anyday and anywhere!

No disrespect but ferrari is not about just looks and sounds! Putting it in a polite way, while the cuda and all muscle cars and so on are like Arnold Swartzeneger big bold strong and devastating ,Ferrari is like Lucy Lu: quick, slick, sexy and deadly! I hope you get my point! Besides name me one manufacturer with a better or longer racing history and also please tell me if you d be more scared of a Cuda or any car behind you on a track than an Enzo or even an F40 with the wastegate blowing away???

Take these ratings with a grain of salt.

Back in the Muscle Car eara, 1/4 mile acceleration was the defacto standard, and the most important stat in selling cars.
These cars would frequently run with open headers, open intake, pollution control disconnected, and with slicks when they were being tested.

I know for fact the ZL1 427 V8 Vette run in street legal trim is a mid 12 sec car.

In street trim, the Enzo would smoke any of those muscle cars rated quicker in the quarter.

some of the people who bought enzo's cant drive for shit, i think it was yzerman who wrote his off tryin it on a track. 1 guy bought it for Ebay, a wheel company has one for display....

im sure it will be the same with CGT.

But for the regular cars, who is better?

Porsche GT2 or Ferrari 550 maranello

Porsche GT3 or Ferrari 360 modena

In a 200 HP car, running a quarter run doesn't take much.

Run a 400+ HP car, manual shifter, w/o traction control, and on street tires, you'll find out very quickly that it's not as easy as you think it is.
