e30 P/W circuit breaker..location?

The other day my power windows stopped working, thought maybe its the fuse, but the sunroof still works, according to bentley's their on the same fuse so thats not the problem...checked the elec. schematic...and there's circuit breaker for the windows...says located center console,right side...but I can't find it...

Hope someone can help me nail in down a little more, or maybe its mounted in a different spot?

it's the big switch on the console that turns off all the windows - also happens to be the breaker.

Did all windows stop working? The switches themselves go pretty cruddy after a while but can be opened and cleaned.

yea its a two door, and both windows stopped working...where exactly on the console is that big button??

it's a switch that's the exact shape as the rear defroster and 4-way flasher switch.

on the cab it's located near the shifter in front of the window switches. on the coupe and sedan, I believe they put the switch in one of the 4 openings where the 4 ways and defroster live.

in any event, it should be a visible switch in the cockpit...

LOL thnx man, I think I pushed it by mistake the other day, would it be just black and unlabeled?? right beside the rear defrost?? Cause I pushed that thinking it was nothing :lol:

To reset just push it again?

Yup, just push it again, and your windows will work, its handy when you just tint your windows, just hit that breaker, and you can't ruin your tint.
