Unless thats a new paint its not paint at all. Some companies have been chrome plating cars for shows in the last few years I've seen a Ram like that and I asked where to get the paint and thats when the guys told me it wasn't even paint it was just polished chrome. Imagine how much that would cost though? damn if chamelon paint goes for up to 12,000 paint like that would be CRAZY

i wonder if there is actually a law or it is "officers discretion". Like so many other things. If they can do chrome paint i wonder if they can tint it red or blue or something. like that red civic /bmw "wanna be"

That paintjob (if it's real) is 110% Illegal.

Your right! No colour is illegal. As far as Im concerned Chrome is not a colour. I'm going to be a Police Officer within the next year myself. If I saw a car that had a paintjob like this I would have it taken off the streets and impounded. That car is not drivable on public roads. It is too much of a distraction/hazard. It is an interesting paintjob though. I always wondered what a car would look like in all Chrome!

Ya maybe if its actually blinding, but as far as distraction goes, i don't see how thats a problem, i mean look at hom many ADVERTISEMENTS are on the side of the road, and all the trucks with big pictures on the side, thats a distraction also, correct?

a distraction on the side of the road is different than a distraction on the road. I don't think I've ever looked at an advertisement on the side of a truck while driving. That car would definately be a distraction. And blinding it will definately be... in the sun, even in the winter.

Bottom line.. he's right. It's a nice paintjob and all... but not for public roads.

If it really is chrome, that thing must be a b*tch to shine.. and can you imagine the finger prints and smudge marks?... dayamm.

Justin summed up exactly what I was going to say!

Yep guys bottom line is them cars do look amazing like that and just imagine what kind of crazy waxing detail you would have to have when cleaning that, even a finger print would be seen. But as for drivng it would be like a moving mirror if you ask me that is bright as hell. Well what ever it is I wanna see more but at car shows.
