Christ I know with my staright through Magnaflow exhaust, it is as loud as I want to get, I can set off car alarms by being beside them........(It does sound good though).
If you remove the cat and the resonators, I think you will find you will go crazy, (It won't pass e-test) and tickets from cops......A very good idea, but I think it should be just for the track........

exactly, my car is being e-tested in 2 weeks. after that im really deciding what to do to my exhaust system. **** no im not gonna go buy some aa exhaust, or whatever brand exhaust system ranging from 4 to 9 hundred bux. i see no point. i saw an e30 with straight pipes pull into the dealership and it sounded like a monster. it was just amazing. what to do what to do!!!???
i think i might just take the cat and resonator out and get a muffler or just have no muffler....STRIZAIGHT pizieps!!

Never do straight pipes, toooo "F"ing loud. I have to turn the radio up to 25 to hear it while im driving. Not only that, I have been pulled over 4 times this past week for my car being too loud. Well not only being too loud but having the car looking the way it does at the moment (car under construction). I need to change my exhaust to something quieter, does anyone have any suggestions. I dont want stock, i'de like something with a purr to it.
thanks...
oh, and the funny thing is... the state pasted me when i inspected the car with this muffler on. go figure!!!
This is only a 1.8l, and it sounds SICK! It sounds like this car belongs on the track... lol, but it only has 105 horses...
