help with calipers...plz


can some1 give me a guide to painting calipers....esp like what paint (brands...) to use and drying times and any other helpful tips...etc,etc

i've got a "monza red" (see pic below...its not my car, but is the same colour) E36 coupe....what colour you guys think would go best.... i was sorta thinkin either the same Red or Silver to match the wheels?? waddya think?

I bought the FoliaTec G2 caliper paint. Just follow the instructions, steel wool and brake clean the whole caliper until you run out of energy, then apply the paint.

I like red, but gold would be nice on a red car. I did red on my parent's silver E46.

sorry to dissapoint...but the pic in my sig aint my car!! jus a stand in pic until i can borrow a digital camera off a mate of mine.

-use VHT paint(about 2 cans)
-some brake cleaner
-take the calipers off completly
-paint the middle part of the discs as well

i think either red, black. not silver, you want some contrast.
