I heard that performance wise Auto + e34 525i = 318i with a manual. Except 318 has better handling, lower insurance rates and much cheaper on gas.

Get the 318i

Don't believe everything you hear.

Comparing an E34 to a 318 is apples to oranges.

#1 Insurance will be the same, collision should be similar.
#2 Performance wise, they both equally suck.
#3 With that many KM's it will need work, as would any car.
#4 Do you want cheap parts? go 318
#5 Do you want luxery and all the features found on modern cars? Go E34.

i think its way overpriced for what it is (2.5 auto)...For that price you should be looking at a 535i or a mint low KM 525i...
