Before I decided I was going to S/C the car I had taken out the A/C not sure if its needed but I took it out to save some weight and to release some hp. Its universal to some extent I'm getting custom pullies made, have a spearco bar and plate intercooler (much more efficeint then a tube and fin), a bypass valve, upgraded the fuel system, getting a metal head gasket, upgraded ignition system with retardation. I also have racing dynamic headers going straight to a titanium muffler thats of the straight through design, sparco front and rear strut bars, H&R cup kit, 17" team dynamic pro comp 1 black rims, euro smily elipsoide headlights, reiger GTS body kit (the front bumper is especially great for the intercooler, fits perfect), the car is gutted with sparco torino seats (red), and a performace extra large oil cooler. Also I'm slowly collecting all the gauges I'll need. I'm getting an air/fuel ratio, boost, oil pressure, oil temp, automatic tranny temp, slightly larger tach, and intake temp gauges.
Um, for those that don't or didn't know the reason I have an automatic tranny is that I have a prothesis so I can't physically drive a manuel. I've had my tranny completly rebuilt and had a bigger torque converter installed with a higher stall speed. So please don't rag on me for the auto tranny, you have no idea how bad I wish I could use a manuel.
I didn't take out the power steering. I kinda like it.
anyone else have a S/C'ed e30? (I know theres people with turbo, but I like S/C better
