When replacing the bulb do u ever notice any water inside the housing?

Sometimes condensation can short out your bulb. I get a little condensation every once in a while when the temperature drops really quickly at night. Next time you go out at night take a quick peak

Solution would be to get a new fog light case/bulb assembly. Check ebay.

if its the plug then how can i fix it?

it might be the condensation problem too, ill check it out, do i really need a new case tho? cant i just take out this out and clean it up make sure its sealed properly?

also i was thinking maybe it was something with the electrical system? maybe too much power is supplied to the bulbs and it shorts them out.. i know its a problem on my mom's golf all the time headlights are burning out

its the plug. Go order it at the dealership. It's cheap, like 30 bucks. Just cut the old one off and attach the new ones by the wires.

My mom has the same problem with her Volvo and the tailight assembly. Every 6 or so months one or two lights in the rear will go out or the check bulb light will randomly come on. This resulted from being rearended in a parkinglot or on a street not sure but hasn't been right since.

Lightbulb bulb blowout!

I put some high output white lights in and they blew out in a few days. After replacing them 3 different times I've noticed that thae high output bulbs are not reliable (smart huh). Make sure you keep the stock output or something needs to be changed for the allowance. My rear bulb went out a couple of times, which I suspected was a burnt bulb, it was indeed a bulb socket like BMW suggested. No problems since. Good luck!
