Exclamation Corvette kill!!

I was pulling onto the highway when i noticed a white early 90's Corvette a few cars in front (im pretty sure I know who it was.....this kid who always drives his Dads vette.).....we both merge on the highway and cruise along at about 125km/h....I'm in the slow lane going to the middle when There's no more cars around and then I notice the corvet which was like 10 car lenghts behind me start speeding up.....so I start speeding up.....at about 140 the vette is almost beside me and then i can hear the car kick down a gear (auto) and the guy pins it.....i wasn't sure what to expect so I kept it in fifth gear just so if he really took off I wouldn't look like as if i was trying really hard to race him....well...as soon as he was beside me a put it to the floor in 5th and obviously he got like half a car infront of me cause i was still in fifth and he had it down a gear but as soon as we reached about 160km/h i caught and started to pass the guy...by the time i hit 200 he was 4 or 5 cars behind me......I don't think he or I could believe i just pulled on him in fifth gear.....

you should have been there to see the look on the guys face when we both slowed down.....i could tell he was trying to read what was on the trunk lid.....he was probably surprised to see 325is instead of M3!!

i tink those early 90s models have like 200hp as a base and it`s mostly low end, so i believe it!

it`s still a vette lol! good job.

Yeah a lot of those old corvette's are gutless and always auto.......Good kill.

I raced a new z28 Camaro in my 323is and beat him by a few car lengths, he just spun his tires way to long and mine caught much quicker........We pulled over after and the look on his face was classic.......

yeah...i was a little surprised myself...thats why i got so excited but then after speaking with a few people they told me those vettes are pretty much gutless to begin with plus they are geared to fo 0-60 and thats about it....

still..the look on the guys face was priceless....

"1992 Corvette with 5.7l........new $53,499"
"3rd set of balljoints cause its still just a chev..........$789"
"black leather driving gloves with finger tips cut out......$45"
"seeing some 19 year old kid in a stock BMW pulling away from you at 160 km/h......Priceless"

actually....i have an intake...but i dont think its that much faster.....just sounds awesome.
