They updated the 2.8 and gave it double vanos.

TU means technical update.

Dual VaNoS means it's much more difficult to tune properly and hence a fewer number of upgrades are available.

Not necessarily that, the intake manifold is a different design. The double vanos is an issue with cam swaps.....
I could be wrong hee guys- look at the M3 (96 to 99) manifolds. If yours is the same the M50 swap will make power for you.

what exactly is the M50 manifold....what car is from....
doesn't my car already have the M50 manifold....

Yes ti does.

O.K. guys.... if you wnat to know if this sway will work for you go take a look at any Mroadster, 96 to 99 M3's intake manifold. If yours looks the same, then yes- this mod will make you power. If you are single vanos (one bump on the intake side instead of two) then you can do M3 Cams too. If not, well to be honest unless you've got an M- you bought the wrong car, upgrades are dismal.
