if u find any 120GB with 8MB cache with a good price, then let me know, i need 2 of them.

the best i saw is $135 for them on a few sites.

At the very least I have to charge the GST. Cheaper price on volume purchase, but I have to get like qty >= 10.

I can get either Maxtor, Seagate or WD 120GB w/8MB cache for $128 each plus tax. Since these are commodity products, the wholesale/retail difference is not very much because of competition.

if me, and mp328 buy them..so 3 in total, what deal can u cut us for the maxtor, or WD.. (which is better? i have WD and it is good but is maxtor better? im adding this to my NEW dell so i dont want it messing up shit).

I can get a better deal for qty. >= 10 only ($3 less per). Prices drop all the time, so next week could be a few bucks lower. As for whether Maxtor or WD is better -- I'd think that nobody could tell a real significant difference in the real world. I've used both brands before with no problems.

i'm going down to the states this weekend.

and i'll check it out down there, maybe buy them there depending on the price. if it's less then $115 US (after their tax) i think it should be fine
