Big change in performance for sure. Woke the old thing up big time! Someone on the board was asking about similar carbs for their 316. If you have Solex PHH40s off the Ti they are not the same as the Alpinas and are apparently crap. If that's the case I would suggest Weber 40 or 45 DCOEs. Some of the problems you're going to have deal with are the linkageI (had to drill a hole in the firewall to reposition the linkage pivot point), the addition of the 320 temp sensor housing which is definately not stock, and the return hose from the heater. The next hurdle is finding someone with the know how to set them up for you.

i have those carbs theyre exactly the same ones u have and theyre theyre solex side draft...
i got them ready to instal !

well the car is in europe so i might go there next year and instal them and take pictures of my motor and the whole car !
