I would NOT recommend FRP bumpers. We have tried it before, and its a big issue. FRP bumpers are hard and rough to deal with when installing. You will find that FRP is hard to install and may require you to modify the bumper in order for it to fit. Such as shaving, cutting, and using bondo to make the gaps seem better.
PP is much easier to work with, its flexible, and very easy to install. Not only that but its OEM material used on your OEM bumpers. So in the event of an accident, your front bumper will have a higher impact resistance than FRP. I used to have a fiberglass front, and someone smacked into it, and it literally disintegrated.
IMO, its a BMW, so spend the extra $$ and get a high quality bumper that'll save you a lot of time in the long run, and possibly increase your chances of survival in the event of an accident.
