Question Boring out throttle body

Has anyone done this? I have an offer to do mine for a decent price. It's an M30 big six. I've put in a MAF so the shitty afm is no longer the restrictor. I haven't looked at the throttle body, so I don't know how small the opening is. I just wonder if this is a waste of money or not. I can definitely get more fuel as well, since the maf is adjustable for both high and low end.

How much are you paying? I may be able to get you a better deal.

It will compliment your other modifications. Don't expect too much from it on it's own. Dinan charges $500CDN to bore out a throttle body which is a complete waste of money. For the right price it's worth it.

You know Ed ?

I have had two done by Ed.

One is on a M30 with a Split Second MAF.

Best part is the smoothing of the transition off idle.
