Those autos are really POS.My buddy has a 95 325is with a 5spd and he raced a e46 323 5spd from a dead stop to about 120mph and the 323i sarted gaining only at the end to finish the race with only about a car length.

That's mostly in the transmission loss. At higher speeds, the E46 aerodynamics are incredible, I've gotten 320iA's up to 220 consistently and quickly, it's amazing.

OH agreed, but like i said, they're nice and tourquey and the DUAL VANOS really helps it out, but still, against MY car, no comparison!
And thats a pet peeve i have with BMW, that they took the ALMOST PERFECTED 325 (M50) and threw it to shit by DEPOWERING IT!
