What's up with the corner lights, oddly shaped. Different colored bumpers are not the greatest. Price wise, I'd look into other alternatives.

Hmmm, that's better. Can't blame them for wanting to make more money . Corner lights still look out of place though.

You can't buy them now, only order for February /early march delivery, each dealership gets one.
Now that 2 people said they saw black ones, BMW is smart because if they put a blue one or another color, you can see how ugly it looks with the black bumpers! Black paint blends right in and doesnt look as ugly

Is it my imagination that.....

BMW cars are getting abit stale in design?...they are trying to cater to all segments of the buying population and somehow it feels just like recycled looks with little imagination.I second the fact the the FX45 is a hot looking car with a incredible cabin designs,I would buy that car in heart beat over any BMW SUV.X3 looks like minature X5 with a price tag that %30 less,it will fit their market segment but IMHO BMW needs a over haul of their design and vision department, they have none...the only BMW I like from their current lines are the M series..M3..M5..of course everybody like those cars.

The dark grey bumper would look good on other colours. Just look at the different Mini colours and **** I can't remember it there is another SUV that has the plastic grey bumpers, and it looks good too.

Anyways, for the price of this vehicle your getting a pretty decent machine, and your getting an SUV as well. You really can't go wrong.

That blue one with the Aero kit is sweet!

The X3 may be nice, but there is no excuse for non colour coordinated bumpers.

The Neon used to have that colour molded plastic bumpers (red, white, green) etc.. and the Cavalier used to come with grey bumpers. I can understand that for economy cars, but not at this level. Even those cars all have colour coordinated bumpers now. Heck, even the old 3 Series used to have grey/black bumpers, but not anymore.

I hate how the base level mini vans all have grey (unpainted) bumpers as well.

For $40,000, the esthetics must be addressed.

Id definitely want colour coordinated bumpers!!!!

Aero kit looks nice!!!

Where are you guys getting these prices for the X3? By the time you put any decent options on it you can add at least $10k. I went for a FX35. Still cost me $50k but worth every penny. Figure on $62k for a plain FX45. I'll take some pictures and post them. It's Brilliant Silver on Black and looks awesome.
