HELP: Lowered car.... Now Xenon gone CRAZY !!!

Hello, as you can see by the title, I lowered my 2004 325Xi by about 1.5 inch all around with H&R coils springs. Now, the setup and install is great but later on that day, i notice my headlight does not light up the street as usual. The pattern is real close... I mean, it's like if you have a car jacked on the rear and the pattern aiming straight to the street. I can see about 4 meters in front of the car.

Also, usually, when I start the car, the xenon goes up and down, like self testing, but this time, it makeda weird clunk clunk clunkn sound. I foud out that the xenon are sorta hitting the bottom of it's travel immeditaly at the start.... while forcing to go lower, it's just make clunk clunk clunk...

when I say xenon, it is obvious that I am talking about the projector headlight.

Anyone ever had this happen to their car ?

What can I do ?

Since your car is still under warranty, I'd bring it back to the dealer to have the headlights checked out. I dont think it has anything to do with you lowering the car.

might be the headlight sensor on the front passenger side ... take of the wheel and u'll find a little sensor near the bottom of your suspension ... the sensor has a V shape arm connected to it ... just push the V to the opposite direction ... for example if the V is facing this way > just push it so it face this way < ... sound a little confusing but u'll see when u take the wheel off and find the sensor

I had the same problem when i installed my H&R coilovers. First off, i just adjusted my headlights to point up instead of down on the street. You will see these little grooved wheels near your headlights when you lift the hood up. You turn them to point whichever way you want. Just make sure you adjust both headlights evenly. The "clunking" noise went away after i adjusted them. Good luck.

hmmmmmmmmmm i belive the Dealer will void the warranty cause you dropped teh car

on the Subaru's you can even put a sticker on your car, let alone drop it
