The STi may get owned, but not by much, after all, they can say they spent 25-30 g's less on a car thats the same speed, and w/ a few minor mods will give the M3 an ass whopping

case closed.
conclusion: first gear>> sti jumps ahead. then m3 starts to catch up. by the end m3 beats catches up slowly and beats the sti from 0-60.
case closed.
same goes for 1/4 mile???

That's all nice and dandy, but that's a lot of power to expect a stock STi power train to withstand.
It would be wise to beef up your power train too.
It's going to cost you a lot more than $3500 bucks to put out that kind of power and expect to be able to use it regularly.

SUPERCHARGED
I actually like Bmw's more than Subaru's. So that is not why I said that.

shouldnt be that bad...after all, this is suburu STI we're talking about..it is made for people who they KNOW will add more power..not keep it bone stock..
its not like someone will add a t3/t4 turbo to a stock honda electric car or something lol

They don't have to.
If you do, your kissing your warranty goodbye.

depending on the dealer..im sure suburu dealers have their own "suburu approved" aftermarket parts as BMW has dinan. ? who knows...but im sure adding a CAI/exhaust will void their warranty, they arent as strict as some other companies, if your adding bolt ons...openning up the engine/changing turbos will void it...but upgrading the exhaust and such bolt ons wouldnt.

Your right.
The CAI, minor exhaust mods is one thing.
Boosting the power of a car by over 30% by cranking up the boost with after-market parts and then expecting Subaru to warranty your car is, shall I say, not realistic.
