Anyone interested in E30 Carbon Fiber body parts?
E30 Hood
E30 Trunk Lid
E30 Front Fenders
I'm thinking of starting an E30 Carbon Fiber group buy. Is there enough interest in this? If you are seriously interested please reply so I can get an idea of what these pieces will cost. This may take awhile and other BMW boards but i'm willing to start this up and organize it.
So please post your name and what parts you are interested in.
Thanx,
Dave

weight brother weight is the big deal. if your just looking for a sporty tuner look then a cf hood is a good buy but if your serious about your shit then getting cf hood, fenders, trunk etc etc then your gonna save butt loads of weight.

save weight for what?????????
if you look it that way, then ppl should have no sound systems, gutted interior, no A/C and a 500HP engine under their C/F Hood

Weight reduction=free horsepower. Doing these mods are good if you are into doing AutoX, lapping days, or driving schools.
Example:
Stereo systems, A/C, spare tire, rear seats, sound deading material, etc...
I'm gutting my car and adding a cage so want my car to be as light as possible when I go to the track.

CF Tech
If the parts are coming from CF Tech in Hamilton like the group buys at DSM.org ... FORGET IT!
I've been waiting nine months for my e30 m3, rear wing adjustable downforce flipper. The guy took on to much stuff, CF goalie masks is one of his contracts.

Andre,
I'm talking about the E30. If someone offers me what I want for either car I will sell them (but keep the E30 CF parts). And BTW it is a daily driven car (but only in the summer).
