NISSAN GEARHEADS, need help on 240sx!
Hey guys i have a friend interested in purchasing a 240sx, hes looking at the S15, but those are VERY hard to come across, so hes considering getting a S14 and converting the front end to S15. I know this can be done (in other words, make a 96 240 look like a 97) does anyone know where/who does these conversions and roughly how much it'd cost!
Also, can't remember what thread, but someone said they can get a SR20DET for like 2500 or something like that. ANYONE?!
Thanks guys!

Click on the link in my sig for the meet info!
Um, you do know that no S15's were ever imported, right? The S14 was the last 240 to cross the pond. With the right parts, it's one amazing car for the money.

OH WAIT!
now i feel like a dumbass, the s15 is 97 and up right?!
Anyways, the 96 240sx, the lights are sorta oval shaped, and my buddy can't stand those he likes the look of the JDM S14 lights, that you posted, but they came on 97 and up 240's, alright, now i'm REALLY confused!
Anyways, Sorry if i'm wrong about the S15 thing!

ALRIGHT, so the question is how much would it cost to make a 96 240 have the 97 headlights, would new fenders and hood be required?!

uuuuh no, you could just get siccors and cut the existing hood, hmm..maybe bend it in a little bit and get it sculpted with some bondo to go with s15 lights.. Let's see, for the fender you could cut it as well to fit the lights.
