Guess what I bought yesturday!
Needed a winter car, so what better thing to do then buy a 1986 BMW 325E!
Not too bad. 150,000 kms, runs strong. Needs a few parts here and there. Like I needed another project!
Hey Al (Windsor318i) I know that you will see this so come and pick up your wheel lock. You left it in my garage shop. Hope you don't get a flat!

Well, I picked it up for $1500. I have to invest a good $800 for exhaust repair, control arms (I guess I can't change just the outer ball joints on an E30), tires and minor interior parts. By the time I'm done all the bullshit, it will cost me $2600 saftey, emissions and licenced. In two years, my insurance will add up to be more $ than the car Not too bad. I also got a Rockford/Alpine/Kicker stereo with it and the alloy polished rims. The guy was a buddy of mine and didn't do his own repairs so he didn't want to pay a mechanic to fix all the little bullshit things that really add up $$$ (when you bring it to a mechanic).
Greg, my dad usually drives the trailblazer in the winter because I drove the Jeep, but as you know, that's another major project.
Al, I'll leave it somewhere either at Classic Tool & Die or at ALO Designs b/c I'm going to London with my g/f tonight for some weekend play.
