The first race in my e30......
Well, I don't usually challenge anyone in my 325e, it isn't the most powerful thing around. I was in Hamilton, on main, heading towards the onramp to the 403 and these two little punks have mommy's subaru 2.5GT legacy sedan. The one guy tells me to roll down my window and he says "Wanna race? I think we can take you". I am not going to say no to that, so the light changed green, I launched well, but didn't squak the tire, didin't even need to, I pulled on him in first, then chirped it into second, then I really started pulling on him.......Needless to say, I made to the on ramp first and had two very disapointed little biatches........Haha, the e30 suprised me, I was quite impressed, I realize it is not a rocket at 121bhp, but the legacy is a 2.5L, 4 cyl 165bhp, boxer engine. Just shows you hp isn't everything, weight, transmission play a big role!

How much torque is your car putting down vs. the Suburu? I think ft-lbs. is more important for stop-light spurts than HP.

it seems like the chips make a huge difference in the 325e's..........Quite a big jump in bhp and torque......

oh ya for sure, get a chip....I have a dinan, but a lot of guys suggest the JC chip. Totally smooths out the power delivery, and noticable power gains as well.

Yeah it is 170lbs torque for 325E. Those cars with chip and intake can be fast. Hey 85ETA , how much is that Dinan chip?
