Ferrari's recommended to use Shell...

I have tested shell vs. sunoco before on the scooter...search for the results in the search...

My scooter's gas gauge seems to be working fine- but the BMW one does shoot up and down sometimes- and that only happens when I fill it up to the neck.

I used to be an avid sunoco believer myself until the little incident with the scooter turned me into a shell believer.

#1 Sunoco: My car sits for days at a time without running. I want the octane to remain well within spec for the coupe. Never any problems.

#2 Petro Canada: Lower octane and price. Never any problems.

#3 Shell: None close to home. I've topped up a few times at Shell tho. Never any problems.

#4 Esso: Wouldn't consider it for the coupe and a last resort for the Celica. Esso is own3d by Exxon U.S.

With all of the above stations I get great milage with the Celica and "very poor" milage with the M Coupe. Hmmm, could be my style.

Esso has the highest energy content, but it also the dirtiest.

Ferrari recommends the Shell that is in Europe, which is completely different gas. There you can get 110 octane, the lowest is 94 lol

You do realize that octane scales are different between North America and Europe. 91AKI here is the same as 98RON there. Still a big difference, but just a small note for you.

In Toronto I would rate the gas companies like this Sunoco, Petro, Esso, Shell
WOW, looks like i'm not the only one with the bad shell experience, i only use SUNOCO, two reasons,
1) 94 OCTANE, hands downs, makes me "THINNK" my car gains 10WHP from it!!

2) had BAD experience with ALLLLLL other companies, except PETRO, but c'mon, CANADIAN GAS COMPANY........NO THANKS!

I tried them all, and they are all the same.
I use Petro Canada cause it is closer and I got Petro Points.

about shell, i dont know about canadian shell, but when i lived in europe my parents' VW Passat only like Shell, any other gas and engine was vibrating from time to time. On Shell it was smooth,

Doesn't PETRO CANADA add that tactrol sh*t .. .cuz all their gases are "winter gases"?!?!

That is a terrible mindset. This is why companies like Zellers are crumbling to Walmart. Have some national pride.

agreed... WALMART works hard to ensure that thier suppliers (craftsmen) suffer from:

(sings in the Walmart voice)...

... rolling back the wages...
... rolling back the standard of living...
... screwing our suppliers...
... F*** North America...

IMHO
